How about incorporating en-route v-nav with the glide slope indicator to show how you are doing according to the planned altitude?



As you all maybe have guessed i'm really keen on getting the ability to show my v-plan as well as the h-plan. Airspace infringements is a big thing these days, and good v-nav planning really helps along the way.

I suppose the vertical deviation indication could be in hundreds of feet from your planned level. Interesting idea.

I guess hudreds wold be fine...
Maybee one could use some kind of arrow signaling climbs and decends also when approaching ToD BoC?

I was also thinking about the boeing-style MFD where the route, airspace and waypoints is shown in the "background" of the HSI, like you show all "synthetic" information but not the map itself... Dont know how to describe it, but google boeing mfd and you'll see what i mean.

April 7th. If it slips, it'll be May 5th.

Note that the glideslope part of the pseudo-ILS will probably be disabled by default, and you may need to agree to an additional disclaimer and advisory before it will appear.
